After rapidly selling out a Wolverhampton September date, Irish free-style experts Abandoman are back in the West Midlands to split your sides with improvisation, as you’ve never seen before.
Winners of the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year, Musical Comedy Awards and the Adelaide Fringe Festival Best Comedy – Newcomer awards! Abandoman create hip-hop inspired musical songs and sketches at lightning speed based on audience interaction.
Abandoman have appeared on BBC3′s Live at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, BBC2′s The Stephen K Amos Show, on Sky Arts as part of their Latitude coverage, as well as being regular performers on BBC Radio 4′s The Now Show, along with Hop Farm, Bestival and this year’s Leeds Festivals.
After catching the Ed Sheeran supporting duo (Robert Broadwick & James Hancox) at a separate Counteract Magazine hosted event in Birmingham, I can’t urge you enough to go and enjoy the funniest night you’ll have all year.
