A brand new festival in memory of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool’s Charles Haddon has today gone on sale.
Chazzstock, featuring The Vaccines, The Horrors and Tribes is set to take place on Sunday June 10 at Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall from 4pm onwards.
Also appearing at the one-day event are Tim Burgess, Man Like Me, Lois & The Love, The Ghost, Joyride, I Dream In Colour, Safari, Jen Armstrong and Escapists.
Speaking about the festival, Chazzstock promoters said:
“On 20th August 2010 we lost someone who could imagine the impossible…”“One of Charlie’s dreams was to put on his own music festival. As always, his aim was to share with his friends and family something which would bring fun, excitement and love to their lives.“Our aim is to bring that dream to life and, at the same time, to give all the profits from the event to charity.“We hope to make this an annual event, starting in summer 2012, with contibutions from some of our friends in the music industry and some up & coming acts, who are deserving of a helping hand.”
Tickets priced at £25 for the day are on sale now via gigsandtours.com.
