Jonsi, the otherworldly voice of Sigur Ros, is coming to town on his first UK solo tour, bringing along new material from his recent solo debut, Go.
Expect feathery costumes, colour, and dynamic shifts as songs build and collapse in on themselves, and more than anything, expect a beauty and magic that few can deliver in their songs as Jonsi portrays another side to his already wonderful character, in his fascinating career. As with his band, the music of Jonsi gets everywhere and is likely to have been heard by many even if they don’t know the name. Now is the chance to catch one of the world’s finest artists live, here in Birmingham, as he lights the city up one September eve. We all know if the weather has anything to do with it we will all need cheering by then. Miss this at your peril!
