Ou Est Le Swimming Pool singer Charles Haddon is said to have killed himself after performing at Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium today.
It has been reported that the singer committed suicide after the bands set by climbing a mast located in a parking area backstage and jumping to his death. Some sources are suggesting that this act has been connected to an incident during the bands performance at the festival where Haddon is said to have injured a girl when stage-diving.
The three piece group from London were in Europe playing at a number of festivals and were to perform at Australia’s touring festival Parklife. They were also set to go on tour in the UK in October to coincide with the release of their debut album ‘Christ Died For Our Synths’. The band were set to play Counteract Presents Ou Est Le Swimming Pool on 18 October, information about this event will given in due course.
